I'd like to invite you to join me in celebration of my newest short story release, "Desert Dreams". This is my first step into the world of contemporary romance-- with a western twist-- and I'm marking it by holding a raffle for a $10 Amazon gift card. Additionally, "Desert Dreams" will be free Thursday September 12th through Sunday September 15th. If you're looking for something a little bit Country and a little bit steamy, please consider picking up a free copy from Amazon. Best of luck to those who participate. <3
Warm wishes, Sophia

One of my favorite western romances is The Coleman Family series by Sandra Brown. It is horribly intense and will definitely pull on your heartstrings.

Hi Sebella, thank you for stopping by. Oooh, Sandra Brown. Adore her, but I had no idea she had written any western romances. I think of fast-paces suspense romance when I think of her-- I'll have to go check those out. Thanks and best of luck in the raffle!

My fave in the Western Romance department is Janette Oke. Love Comes Softly, Love's Enduring Promise, Love's Abiding Joy & the rest of the Janette Oke group. Janette Oke can write the western romances (old time, not current time) like no one else, with such emotion and adventure & excitement like I am there too! With all that said, the emotion part, I always end up crying. It takes a real talent to make you cry when you are reading! Even the movies made from her books are really good, but just like all movies, the books are always better! Thank you for offering the contest for everyone and good luck to all!

Me personally Linda Lael Miller, Fern Micheal, Lisa Keyplas... From Historical to everyday to westerns (eclectic reader...) To me a contemporary is like a feel good romance that is clean ... that is the best way I can describe it...

Hi Beckey, thanks for dropping by. Oh, great picks! I know what you mean about 'feel good' and contemporaries. Have you read any Susan Elizabeth Philips? Her books always leave me smiling. Best of luck in the raffle!
